Rangers Continue to Roll
The Kitchener Jr Rangers Select Blue team had an impressive outing in a 2 to 0 win over their rival Rangers Red in a rare Thursday afternoon game.

Will Halter opened the scoring for the Rangers from Ryan McConnell. Tyler Oude-Voshaar had a power player goal from Jacob Ancich and Michael Rogoz put the game away with an empty netter from Logan Hock.

The Rangers were missing some key players and had to roll only 4 defenders. Evan Skipp played lights out for the Rangers and was a key contributor. Rashaun Williamson was effective and frustrating the Red team and Ethan Shular and Hock both were not only a shut down pair but also were impressive pinching to help the forwards cycle game.

Up front was much of the same with everyone pitching into the attack and system. The coaches commented after the game there were no passengers on the team. Weather it was Freddie Law in the final moments winning battles or Shawn Parliament pushing plays deep and setting up teammates it was all team first for the Rangers. Colin Starr was again a valuable asset and moved up front where his speed and play making was impressive.

The Rangers have bought into the team system and have done great at putting team ahead of individuals. It is something that will truly help the team achieve their season long banner aspirations.

Well done Rangers!
