Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget Red Team to take part in Tournament of Poppies
The Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget Red Local League Team will
be taking part in Tournament of Poppies in Fergus this weekend.
This will be an opportunity to honour the men and women who
gave so much for our country while playing the game we love.
The tournament will include a “Feed the Troops” lunch,
wreath laying ceremony and moment of silence.
Teams are encouraged to research a family member who
actively served or still serves with a focus on “Who you are playing for this
weekend”.
Special events will be taking place over the weekend with
proceeds supporting the Fergus Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275 and the Elora
Legion Branch 229.
