TEAM CAPTAINS...
CONGRATULATIONS to the following players named Team Captains for the Season.
We asked the boys to vote on their selection of Captain for the Team. The criteria we asked them to consider when selecting a Captain was;
1) MUST place the team ahead of themselves.
2) Works extremely hard at every practice and game.
3) Want to make a difference and lead the team in a positive manner.
4) Never puts down another player and only wants to help make the team better, while encouraging teammates at the same time.
5) Is "Selfless" and is a positive influence both on and off the ice.
With all of this in mind, the Coaches felt there wouldn't be a wrong choice on this team no matter who was selected to lead the team. All of our players are "hard workers", "positive" and "want to make difference". We are extremely pleased to announce that one individual in particular gained the majority of the votes for his Leadership qualities, positive attitude and fist pumping the boys while holding the door for them to hit the ice. It was no surprise that this individual was that well respected by the players and an EXCELLENT choice by the team.
In addition, we are naming three Alternate Captains...all great choices and a positive influence on the Team. We had two players tied for third in the votes and felt it would only be fair to add a third Alternate Captain.
