Rangers Attack Bulldogs
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team came out dominate right from puck drop on route to a 6 to 0 win over the Burlington Bulldogs Red team Saturday night.

The Rangers came in waves and held the puck in the Bulldogs zone for long periods of time as the players cycled the puck with ease and made some amazing plays. It was fun hockey to watch.

Rangers Captain Jacob Reid-Brant continued to be sidelined. Although his departure from the lineup is greatly missed, the boys continued to step up and fill in where he left off.

Evan Peori opened the scoring from Logan Duke and Kodi Blackshaw. Jake Fisher put the finishing touches on a play from Quinten Earle. Duke went end to end breaking through the Bulldogs defenders and had a nice unassisted goal. Caleb Cumming had a pair or goals with his first from Toby Pryce and Blackshaw and his second from Connor Coughlin. Duke had his second goal of the night from Fisher and Earle.

Aiden Radatus had his second shutout of the season and played great early on in the game and a highlight kick save in the final minutes. Radatus mad a nice pass out of the zone beating a Bulldog to a loose puck.

The puck movement was some of the best the team has had in recent games. Denver Heiman and Stephen Peppas were fantastic at moving the puck down low. The forwards did a great job activating the defense at the points and it created a lot of offense. Josh McDonald and Matt Gallant were effective getting pucks on net through traffic. Noah Park and Chad Morris showed off some textbook regroups to help the Rangers hold possession. The team played together as a unit and followed the gameplan to perfection.

Next up the Rangers travel to St. Catherine’s for a Sunday match if weather holds up. The coaches hope the same puck movement can be done by the team because it was great to see.

Go Rangers!
