Rangers Finish On Top
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team took top seed after the round robin series and will face the Brantford 99ers in the semi finals. It will be a rematch after tying 3-3 Saturday morning.

Credit the 99ers for going all out and playing a great game. They had the Rangers on their heels in the game but the Rangers never give up and rallied twice.

First when down two goals the Rangers used the power play to tie the game with back to back power play goals. The first goal was by Kodi Blackshaw from Quinten Earle and Jake Fisher. The second was from Stephen Peppas from Josh McDonald and Denver Heiman.

The 99ers scored to take another lead but again the Rangers tied it. This time Jacob Reid-Brant scored from Noah Park and Chad Morris.

Aiden Radatus at times was hung out to dry but he was sharp and made saves to help spark the Rangers and help them get the valuable point. Radatus had to make key saves late in the third as well.

Matt Gallant and Toby Pryce had strong games for the Rangers and were effect moving the puck.

All the forwards played hard. Caleb Cumming had several great drives to the net. Logan Duke was a thorn in the 99ers side from puck drop. Evan Peori was relentless on the back check and Connor Coughlin won numerous puck battles for his team.

The Rangers will enter the semi final with a little bit of a chip on their shoulders and be ready to go. The coaches reminded the team how much they believe in the team and are confident their team will carry the play tomorrow.

Go Rangers!
