Rangers Unforgiving in St. Catherines
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team didn’t allow run time to slow down their attack on Sunday afternoon. In a third period playing with the clock on run the Rangers cruised to a 16-0 victory in St. Catherine’s against the Hurricane. Large credit goes to the Hurricane players for their hard work and efforts. Unfortunately the Rangers attack and continuous cycle game proved no match in this one.

It was nonstop zone time for the Rangers as they cycled and dominated the game, activating all areas of their offensive attack. With Toby Pryce sidelined the Rangers stepped up and filled the void with solid leadership from all areas of the team.

Stephen Peppas had a team high 4 goals in the game. Peppas’ first goal was from Quinten Earle and Noah Park, his second goal was from Matt Gallant and Denver Heiman, his third goal was shorthanded from Heiman and his fourth goal was from Earle. Kodi Blackshaw scored from Earle. Connor Coughlin scored from Caleb Cumming and Jacob Reid-Brant. Heiman scored from Earle. Cumming scored from Earle and Blackshaw. Logan Duke scored from Evan Peori. Gallant scored from Coughlin and Reid-Brant. Coughlin scored from Peori and Blackshaw. Peori scored from Jake Fisher and Duke. Peori scored his second from Josh McDonald and Park. Fisher scored from McDonald and Peori. Heiman scored from Peppas and Chad Morris and Coughlin scored his hattrick goal from McDonald and Cumming.

Aiden Radatus built on his solid resume of late with another shutout and this one was likely his easiest. Radatus now has 5 shutouts in his past 6 games.

The Rangers will practice tomorrow night before the teams takes a small break for Christmas and plays in the Wayne Gretzky tournament.

The coaches would like to wish all the players and families a safe and Merry Christmas.

Go Rangers!
