Rangers tame the Bulldogs in Home Opener
The Rangers got off to a bit of a slow start in the first period but poured it on strong in the 2nd and 3rd to take their home opener 3-0 over the Bulldogs of Burlington.

On the back of a really strong goaltending performance from Nathan Hancock who held them in the game in the early stages, the Rangers pulled out their first win of the season!

The D core was good when called upon and actually got stronger as the game went on making some good outlet passes and killing off some late penalty trouble as the game was winding down.

Ethan Lafleur broke the ice on the Rangers season with a workhorse like goal created with the help of Sam Clark and Spencer McCormick.

Brett Herniman led the way for the Rangers offensively with two big goals to put the Bulldogs away in the 3rd period.   Herniman took home the inaugural "Mr Big Game" MVP Box for his efforts with some great support from his linemates Brayden Buck and Ryan McConnell.

Good start to the season boys!  Next up dryland systems training and some practice time.

Go Rangers Go!
