to the 2021-2022 Hockey Season for the U11 AAA Kitchener Jr Rangers!!
Tournaments:
While anticipating our tryouts mid Sept, I thought I
would provide some advance notice to advise that we have acquired the following
Tournaments:
AAA Oktoberfest Tournament Oct 22-Oct 24
AAA Shanahan International Tournament Nov 05-Nov 07
AAA 17th Annual Oshawa Challenge Tournament Nov 18-Nov 21
AAA Canadiens Cup Tyler Cragg Memorial Dec 03-Dec 05
The Coaching Staff is very excited about the year ahead. At this point, we are planning for a regular season of hockey while being aware of all the necessary public health guidelines and restrictions as it relates to keeping our players, parents, and volunteers safe.
The Season began with an ice time on Monday, August 23rd from 6:45 PM-7:45 PM which was a Goalie ONLY clinic. It was conducted by a Goalie Trainer/Coach and included goalie specific drills applicable to the U11 age group.
Tryouts: Every player is guaranteed a minimum of 3 ice times on September 13th, 14th, and 15th.
Player releases will then start after Sept 15th's tryout.
The first tryout will be skills, the second tryout will be small area battle drills and hockey specific drills (example 1 on 1, 2 -1 etc) and the third tryout will be an inter-squad game or exhibition games - TBD.
Tryouts will finish on Sunday, September 19th, after which our final roster will be established.

This upcoming season will be based on hard work, accountability, respect in sport, and to learn and develop as players.
Our motto will be to work hard and strive to be the hardest working team on the ice! But more importantly we want players to follow the rules of hockey and respect their teammates, their opponents and referees. And have fun!
