What is Seeded Level Hockey?
If you are new to minor hockey or even if you played as a youth, like us coaches, then the term "Seeded" may be new to you. What happened to the Single A and Double A levels of representative hockey?


Seeded level hockey is the second highest level of representative competitive hockey available in Kitchener. It is one team made up of players in the KMHA. 

We play against other Seeded teams until December and then are “seeded” or declared as either an “A” or “AA” level team. After the “seed”, our team only plays against teams that are within our designation.

In Kitchener, at the U10 age level, the competitive teams are:

Seeded (AA/A)
