Thank you for registering for the Kitchener Jr. Rangers U9 MD Program. We are looking forward to another great hockey season.

The evaluation process will consist of three ice times.  The fourth ice time being an intersquad game for selection of the U9 Red Team and two additional intersquad games for selection of the U9 Blue & White Teams.  

Should your child be interested in the goalie position, please let us know so we can make the appropriate accommodations.

Each player will be provided an ID number at your first sign in of evaluations.  The Player ID number will be used to identify players advancing in the evaluation process by posting the number (instead of names) on the teams website. Please follow the U9 Red, Blue & White teams websites to know if you player will be advancing through the selection process.  

Evaluation Ice Times           

Saturday, September 25th (Red/Blue/White)

Group 1 - 12:15pm to 1:15pm  
Group 2 - 1:15pm to 2:15pm
Group 3 - 2:15pm to 3:15pm

Sunday, September 26th (Red/Blue/White)

Group 1 - 8:00am to 9:00am
Group 2 - 9:00am to 10:00am
Group 3 - 10:00am to 11:00am

5:00pm-8:00pm Intersquad Games

Arrival to Evaluations

Please create a socially distanced lineup outside the rink.  Players can access dressing rooms/chairs 30 minutes prior to their evaluation time.    A full list of Return to hockey guidelines may be found at:  https://kitchenerminorhockey.com/

Player Commitment

If the player ID assigned to you is NOT listed on the U9 red, blue or white website, you will be contacted by KMHA regarding the HL program and we wish you best of luck this season.

NOTE - Coaches expect any player attending or advancing in evaluations after the 1st skate to be committing themselves to this program if selected.
