Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club will host the 26th Annual Teddy Bear Charity
Night on Tuesday, December 7th
Evening Ranger Families!
The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club will host the 26th Annual Teddy Bear Charity Night on Tuesday, December 7th vs London Knights, and we’ve been enlisted to help pick up teddy bears!
The fans in attendance are being asked to bring a new or gently used teddy bear to the game and immediately following the Rangers’ first goal, they will throw their teddy bear onto the ice surface. Then we get to help retrieve them.
Each player must bring their helmet, skates and BLUE team sweater. Please come dressed in your KJR warm up suits (jackets and pants). Please also bring gloves or mitts. It makes it easier to pick up the bears using just regular winter mittens or gloves.
Please arrive at the Aud by 6:15pm. We will all enter at Door 19 – the blue double doors facing Ottawa Street. We will have time for pizza and drinks for dinner. We’ll finish up dinner by 6:45pm at which time a Rangers representative will come into dressing room 4 to discuss the pickup guidelines. Players will stay in the dressing room and wait for the first Rangers goal. COVID protocols are still in full effect. So, when not eating or drinking, masks are mandatory at all times. After we do our part to collect the bears, we’re able to move to our assigned seats and enjoy the rest of the game, courtesy of the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club.
