Lady Rangers Silver at Walter Gretzky Tournament
The Kitchener Lady Rangers U18 AA had a good weekend of hockey at the 40th Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament in Brantford.
The Lady Rangers had 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie, through round robin play which put them into the second seed for the semi-finals.
In the semi-final game the Lady Rangers eliminated the Central York Panthers 4 to 1.
In the championship game the Lady Rangers took on the Bluewater Hawks. Unfortunately the girls came up on the short end of a 3 to 1 loss.
Very good weekend of hockey ladies! The coaching staff and parents are very proud of the way you played this weekend!
