Top 4 Finish at Provincials
The Kitchener Lady Rangers had a great weekend overall and finished up with a 4th Place finish!
The Lady Rangers had a great round robin with 2 wins and 1 tie and taking the top seed in their pool.
They then eliminated the Belleville Bearcats from the tournament with a 2 to 1 win, and followed that up with a 2 to 0 victory over the Ottawa Senators in the Quarter finals.
In the semi-finals the Lady Rangers lost in the first overtime period to the Whitby Wolves 2 to 1.
With that loss the Lady Rangers were into the Bronze medal game against the Etobicoke Dolphins. Unfortunately the girls came up just short of the medal with a 2 to 1 loss.
The Lady Rangers played 7 games over the past 4 days of very competitive and exciting hockey.
The coaching staff and parents are extremely proud of the work ethic and teamwork displayed over the Provincials weekend and the entire season!
Well done on a successful 2021/22 season.
