My name is Scott Atkins and I am the head coach of the U9 Kitchener Jr. Rangers Tier 2 Blue Team this coming season. I wanted to provide more details on the Blue/White tryout process as well as provide further details on the KJR U9 Blue program for the upcoming season.
At the completion of the KJR Red Tryout on Sunday September 25th, the Blue and White coaching staffs will be inviting selected players to continue with the Blue/White tryouts. Blue/White tryouts will occur on:
· Tuesday September 27 @ 6:30pm-7:30pm @ Activa (PJD)
After the tryout on September 27, we will then be inviting selected players to continue to the final tryout on:
· Friday September 30 @ 6pm-7pm @ Activa (PJD)

Additional Information for KJR U9 Blue:
Calendar - The team calendar is being updated week by week as I am confirming each event. That said, the calendar is up to date with KMHA practices, home games and tournaments. Away games will be added as Alliance works through the schedule for U9.
Practices – Every Wednesday and Friday morning at 6:30AM.
Dryland and Power Skating – Most Thursdays, some Tuesdays.
Games – Saturdays and Sundays
Tournaments – Guelph, Burlington, Belle River and Hespeler
Alliance Championship – St. Catharines
Parent Meeting - Mandatory parent meeting for selected players is Monday October 3 at 6pm-7:30pm at the Murray Fried Room at Activa.
Attendance - It is expected that all players on the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Blue team will do their best to attend all practices, games, tournaments, power skating, dryland and team building events. It is expected that attendance at hockey will take precedence over other organized sports/activities your player may be part of.
