The Lady Rangers welcomed the Saugeen Maitland Lightning in their last regular season game of the 2022 / 2023 season.
After twenty-one regular season
games against the Cambridge Roadrunners, Guelph Gryphons, Owen Sound Ice Hawks,
Stratford Aces, Waterloo Ravens and Woolwich Wild, the Lady Rangers ended their
regular season play against the Saugeen Maitland Lightning. A slow start to the
game had the Lady’s out shot in all three periods. A late period goal against,
as well as giving up a power play goal against, had the Lady’s finishing the
season with a loss. The loss kept the Lady Rangers in 4th place for
the season with an overall record of 9 wins, 8 losses and 5 ties for 23 points.
Congratulations on a successful regular season of hockey ladies. We knew that each and every game was going to be a battle with close scoring. And it certainly didn't disappoint!
