KMHA Grad Tanner Pearson Heading To The Stanley Cup
Kitchener Minor Hockey Grad Tanner Pearson, #70 and part of the 70's line for the LA Kings is heading to his first Stanley Cup Final.
Tanner played his entire minor hockey career in Kitchener and is having an outstanding playoffs. He's tied for the league lead with teammate Anze Kopitar in NHL plus minus in the playoffs with +10. Tanner is averaging 11:28 minutes of ice time for the deep Kings. The Kings have played 3 series that have gone 7 games and are the first team to do that and advance to the finals.
The Stanley Cup final will have a local flair and large Alliance influence with KMHA players Tanner Pearson and NY Rangers Kevin Klein. Other local players include LA Kings, Kyle Cliffords from Ayr, ON, Jake Muzzin, Woodstock, ON and Alliance Player Drew Doughty. Who says the Alliance doesn't develop talent!
Good luck Tanner in your first Stanley Cup Finals!
