Kitchener Minor Hockey Development Program (KMHPD)
Consists of 5 different programs available to players of all ages and levels for Fall 2012 and Winter 2013 - Registration to begin in June 2012.
- Learn to Hockey Skate: NEW!!!! Kitchener Minor Hockey is excited to present a program from our future players to learn to skate in FULL hockey gear.
- Hockey Beginning Program : Helps develop young players skating and puck skills. The player must be able to be self suffcient (without a parent) on the ice in order to participate in this program.
- Intermediate Development Program : Designed to improve a player's skills in skating passing and shooting. It is recommended to have completed the Hockey Beginnings Program (minimum two years) or playing House League at Tyke/Novice (age 7/8)
- Advanced Development Program : Provide extra ice time to enhance player's skills in skatinng, passing puck handling and shooting. It is recommeneded to have completed the Intermediate Development Program.
- Goaltender : Designed for goaltenders ages 7 to 16 who want to improve their goaltending skills. Goalie equipment will be provided to those who need it on the class days right at the rink.
- Adult : Designed to allow adults to develop their individual hockey skills in a FUN environment.
SPRING SESSION 2012 FOR LEARN TO SKATE AND HOCKEY BEGINNINGS!!!!
KMHA will be offering a joint class between the Learn to Skate and Hockey Beginnings Program. The session will consist of 10 classes starting Tuesday, April 17th and ends Tuesday, June 19th.
There are two class times at 5:30pm or 6:30pm. Session will be held at Sportsworld Arena.
6:30pm Class is FULL - spaces available in 5:30pm class.
Spaces are limited - 15 Learn to Skate Registrants and 30 Hockey Beginnings Registrants maximum in each class.
