Prosit Plater people! What a winning weekend we had! Two teams nipping at our heels for second place were left behind in our skate-snow!
Congrats to Alex P. for lighting up his usual prolific point production, to Noah for his dynamic defence and playmaking prowess, Carter for rediscovering the back of the net, and the Great Wall of Caleb and Matt! Solid effort from the whole team energy-wise, but defensive zone breakdowns continue to plague us. I fear these breakdowns we've been getting away with now, we may not get away with during the playoff tournament. Hopefully our next practice can help with this.
It's time to start thinking about our season-end party! I usually like to rent ice and have parent-child match, and hand out awards after, but if anyone has other ideas let us know and maybe we'll have a vote. Or we can put it up on the webpage as a poll!!
