Playing Well Enough To Win
The game on Sunday against the Brantfort Church Saints went well. We were solid on D and the forwards got going around the half way point in the 1st period. Jonas was awesome... he really got after the puck and for a little guy out worked kids twice his size. He scored the first goal with all out effort. Mark scored on a break away, and Aiden followed a shot by Quinten and banged home a rebound.... Q was being hauled down and perhaps may have gotten a penalty shot if Aidan hadn't scored.
Ethan was a force on the point and Ody was blocking shots and stopping 2 on 1's. He was wicked good and won the hard hat worker of the game. Carson started the game and earned a shutout in his half and Logan came in to shut the door for the remainder of the game. He came out to challenge the shooters and was warned by the refs to not come out of his net. (Not sure why but oh well) It was a great game... Brantford came on hard at the end and hit 3 posts. The team played well enough to win 3-0. Good job boys
