Kitchener Girls Give Back
Kitchener Girls Hockey Day Food Drive
On January 13, 2013, we will again spend a day together celebrating girls hockey. All girls who are registered to play hockey in Kitchener will play a game on the same day and in the same arena. We have many special events planned for you throughout the day, so plan on coming early, or staying after your game.
We have partnered with the food bank to show that Kitchener female hockey players care! We are working with First Impressions to design a special hockey sweater for Girls Hockey Day. Between now and December 15th, the team who can raise the most in donations for the food bank will get to wear this special sweater for their game on January 13th. It will have their number and name sewn on, and they will get to keep it!
Simply drop off donations directly to the food bank at 50 Alpine Court, near Homer Watson and Ottawa. Indicate this is for Kitchener Girls Hockey Day, note weather you are playing for a Local League team or Lady Ranger team, tell them the division you play in (i.e. Novice, Atom, Peewee, etc.), and the team you are on. The winner will be announced the week of December 17th!
