Minor Atom AAA Jr Rangers get underway
The coaching staff would like welcome the players, their families and our fans to the 2012-2013 hockey season .... We have a lot to be excited about!
The Jr Rangers are off the mark with a very busy and fun September schedule. After a great start through the tail end of August with practices, the team will shake the cobwebs out in a home and home exhibition against Waterloo during the first week of school before hosting the Lampton Jr Sting on Sept 9th in their league opener.
The coaching staff has been very impressed with this group of 8 & 9 year olds so far, on and off the ice. Their skill, compete & focus individually has laid the foundation for a lot of great opportunities for the players to learn. It is our collective goal to evolve & develop that individual talent and build our Jr Rangers team together.
Looking ahead, the Jr Rangers will travel to Peterborough to play in the Pat Larock Early Bird tournament. The team will stay in cottages on Rice Lake & have a great opportunity for the entire hockey team family to connect & make some awesome memories.
The weeks beyond Peterborough will see the Jr Rangers travel for four league games, all on the road and the month will conclude with a great team building day.
