Congratulations
to our Lady Rangers bringing home the GOLD and the “picture trophy” at the 18th
Annual Ice Boltz tournament in North Bay. We are all proud of the players as
they are creating their team identity, 100% effort for 3 periods of play!
The Bantam A division consisted of teams from Orillia, Hamburg, NY, and host North Bay. After undefeated round robin play, Lady Rangers played Orillia in the semi final with a nail biting 2-1 winning goal by Alex Bassanese. Sunday morning championship final opponent was the host Ice Boltz. The time change and extra hour rest provided the energy to a convincing 5-0 win in a penalty filled game scoring three power play goals.
Player of the game honors went to Meghan Young, Nicole Dam, Lauren Mader, Macy Hepditch and Jenna Monroe providing our Lady Rangers with team scoring 18 goals for and 1 against record for the GOLD!
