2021 Oktoberfest Champs!
The U10 MD Red Team takes home the 2021 Kitchener Oktoberfest Tournament banner through hard work, dedication, and team spirit!
In only their third week of team play and first weekend of competitive games on full ice, the U10 MD Red Kitchener Jr. Rangers were able to adapt and learn positional hockey quickly in order to win the 2021 Kitchener Oktoberfest Tournament.
After suffering a first game loss and tying their second game, the Jr. Rangers stormed back to win three one-goal games in thrilling fashion, eventually beating a very competitive Oakville Rangers team 1-0 in the finals.
Every player played a pivotal role in the victory by working hard, listening to their coaches, and demonstrating respect for their teammates and opposing players. The coaching staff is extremely proud of the way the boys played and were happy to be able to share this special moment with their players so early in their hockey careers!
As the Head Coach, Mike Pisarchuk explained to the boys after their victory, “it might be true that an individual player can win a game, but it takes an entire team to win a tournament and for this accomplishment they should all be very proud.”
