Novice Reds enter the Home Stretch
With 3 weeks remaining in the regular season, the competition level is heating up in the East/Central Novice MD Tier 1 League.
In the final stretch of what has been an exciting & memorable year, The Novice Reds will soon be battling for the league's top spot heading into the post season. The Reds have seen considerable improvement in the competition level since Christmas & are now being challenged to bring their best every time they hit the ice.
Of the 8 teams in Tier 1, the top 4 will move onto the playoffs and the final 2 will not only play for the East/Central title, they will represent our league against the Novice MD West league at the Alliance Championships in Stratford on April 13th, 14th & 15th.
The Novice Reds started the season with the hope and desire of getting a chance to represent Kitchener at the Alliance Championships by building a solid foundation, developing their skills, learning their positions & working as a team. Those thoughts now turn to execution, hardwork & heart. With the anticipation of our road ahead, there is a excitement building in our dressing room that our guys (& girl) are ready, willing & able to take on the challenge ... Good Luck Ranger Reds!
