The third and final regular season meeting
between the Guelph Gryphons and the Lady Rangers did not disappoint the fans at
the Activa Sportsplex.
The final regular season meeting between the Lady Rangers and Guelph Gryphons was an entertaining game with both sides playing some great hockey. The Gryphons dominated most of the first before the Rangers picked up the pace and settled in to a great period of hockey. With several chances both ways, the Gryphons took a 1 – 0 lead into the break. Despite out shooting the Gryphons, that first goal was all that was necessary in a well-played 3 – 0 loss.
Although the Gryphons were happy to celebrate, remember this was simply game 18 of your exhibition season. You ran our systems, generated opportunity and competed well for over thirty minutes. The “real” season of hockey begins in three weeks. Keep working hard and your efforts will be rewarded.
