The Lady Rangers returned to the Activa
Sportsplex for their final meeting of the regular season with the North York
Storm.
After a close first period, the Lady Rangers exploded for a five goal second in a game which never saw the Storm find their own true “game”. We appreciate that this was an “off night” for you and know the "real games" in round one will be a battle.
As for the ladies, congratulations on finishing first in the Central Division. While we are proud of all your efforts to date, please remember the “real season” is just two weeks away. As with previous years history (L.A.’s “eighth-seeded” team winning 2012 Stanley Cup and the Bruins, winners of last season’s Presidents Trophy, loss to the Canadians in the Eastern Conference Final) we are certain that there will be upsets throughout the LLFHL where “#1” does not advance to the final four weekend. We are confident that if you commit to bring “your game” to the ice each and every night, you will be successful.
In hockey and life, there are three types of people. There are those who “make” it happen; those who “watch” it happen; and those who wonder what happened! Continue to commit to working hard every shift and be the ones who will make it happen.
