Awesome
There were so many positives by all the girls that came from this tournament that I can't name them all and can't point out everyone's accomplishments. So here are some of the highlights of the tournament.
Overall team - Tourney Champions, 15 goals for with only 2 against, Scoring from 5 different players, points from 9 different players, only 2 penalties.
Jillian - Best Stick handler in the skills competition, 8 goals and 2 assists, hat trick in our second game.
Sarah - Best shooter in the skills competition, 4 goals and 2 assists (don't worry you are still ahead in the overall scoring race, see updated players stats on the KMHA website team page)
Jaden - Faster skater in the skills competition, 1 goal and 2 assists
Molly - 2 shutouts and a final goals against average of 0.5, represented our team really well in the skills competition (notably one really good glove save)
Ariana - 1 goal and 2 assists
Elle - 1 goal and 1 assist
Victoria, Kiara and Abby - All had one assist (Abby's first point of the year)
Chloe, Melody and Olivia - No point or assist for this line but they had numerous chances and played position better than we have seen all year.
Entire defensive core - Only 2 goals against, almost putting Molly to sleep in two games.
