5-3 vs Waterloo Wolves
Saturday at Albert McCormick was the first of a home and home series vs the Waterloo Wolves to close out the play downs. AP Jacob O (aka Big O) answered the call (Oliver was on the DL) and got the start.
We took our time getting going but after a pep talk from Coach Darren between periods, the boys came out flying and shifted the overall momentum of the game. 3 quick goals, including a highlight reel move by "Chasee", put us up by two which proved to be enough for the win. All the boys played well including Berchie on the wing who had a beautiful assist.
It was a unanimous decision amongst the coaching staff to award "Big O" with game MVP. 2 of the 3 goals were unstoppable (backhand high and a bar-down rocket) and he had some remarkable saves.
