Morning, Rock family. KHMA has released a statement regarding a return to play starting on Janaury 31, 2022. Please see their statement by clicking the news article on the home page.
Please note that the return to play is still fluid right now, and details are still being worked out. Once we have information on those details, we will share them with all of you. For now, please assume that hockey will be starting back up on Janaury 31, 2022, at 12:01am. Please also assume that dressing room capacity might be limited, and that there will be chairs set up outside the rooms for overflow. Until you hear otherwise, please ensure that players are arriving to the rink half dressed. For pre-game talks, we will try to figure something out where we can all meet and still respect distancing requirements.
The remainder of the schedule for the season is changing as a result of the pauses. Please do not use any printed schedules, instead check the KMHA website for changes and updates. Updates will also be sent through the SportsHeadz app. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to the coaching staff, and we will try to get the answers for you.
I am hopeful that this will be the last pause in play for this season, but again, the situation is fluid. Any information that KMHA sends out we will share with all of our parents and players.
