2020/21 Season Update
Submitted By KMHA on Wednesday, April 7, 2021
Hello Hockey family

In response to this 3rd Provincial Shutdown all KMHA programs for the remainder of the 2020/21 Season are cancelled.

At a board meeting on Tuesday night the KMHA board of directors reaffirmed their earlier communication that the current season would not continue past the end of April. They have directed staff to calculate refunds for the remainder of the season and any fees that would have been directed to referees for missed games. Please be patient as we calculate each team's ice and game totals and then apply them to each group. We hope to be communicating to each team early next week with their expected refund. For participants that completed their participation in period 2 or 1 we will calculate a refund for missed referees and issue that as well.

It is KMHA's hope that should we be able to return to the ice in late spring or early summer you will join us for Hockey development programs if in Red level restrictions or 4on4 competition both co-ed and girls only divisions if in Orange or better. Please note KMHA will still be under public health restrictions to have players remain within the 50 player groups they were in with KMHA all season. Please keep your eyes on the website if either program is of interest to you.

KMHA hopes to return to more regular programming in the fall, and will communicate the directions we are given by our governing bodies as well as Public Health closer to the summer or as information is made available. Please keep your eyes on the website for 2021/22 season details.

Sincerely the KMHA Board of Directors.
