KMHA family member needs your Help.
Former player and current KMHA official Karl Peterson needs your assistance.

In April 2023, Karl was diagnosed with Poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma, pancreatic type, cancer at the age of 35. This is a super rare, highly aggressive metastatic form of pancreatic cancer. Karl will begin chemotherapy within the next week or two, but specific treatment for this type of cancer is not available in Canada.

Karl and his wife Alicia are now facing significant financial stress as they have to travel to the US to access clinical trials/treatment to fight the disease to help prolong life. Costs for treatment, travel, accommodations and living expenses are estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

We are hoping to raise funds to help Karl and Alicia cover their expenses and give Karl access to the treatment he needs.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting Karl and Alicia during this challenging time.
