Kitchener Bulldogs Secure Overtime Victory at London Bandits Memorial Tournament
The Kitchener Bulldogs clinched a thrilling 2-1 overtime win against the Sarnia Blue Thunder in the U13 division final of the London Bandits Memorial Tournament, held from January 10-12, 2025. The championship game, played on January 12 at 1:45 PM, was a defensive battle, with both teams locked at 1-1 at the end of regulation. The Bulldogs' perseverance paid off in overtime when their forward netted the decisive goal, igniting celebrations among players and fans.

Throughout the tournament, the Bulldogs showcased exceptional skill and teamwork. They topped Pool A with a perfect 3-0 record, including a 5-2 victory over the Sarnia Rebels and a 6-1 win against the Essa Eagles. In the semifinals, they defeated the Sarnia Silver Chargers 5-1, earning their spot in the final. Coaches and supporters praised the Bulldogs for their dedication and sportsmanship, noting that this victory sets a high standard for the remainder of their season.
