Bradley "Brad" Bruce SCHEIFELE Obituary
Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on
Saturday, May 17, 2025, at WRHN at Midtown (formerly Grand River Hospital) in
Kitchener, ON, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of 40 years to Mary Lou (nee
Mann). Loving father of Janelle Scheifele, Kyle (Evelyn), and Mark (Britt).
Dear brother of Greg (Doreen). Son-in-law of Lyle Mann and the late Norma.
Predeceased by parents, Bruce and Marg (nee Gofton). Fondly remembered by
extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends. Brad was best known for his cheerful
attitude, distinctive laugh, and dedication to his hair. He was fortunate to
have found his true calling as a bus tour operator for seniors, and there are
many who will miss his jokes. There was no one more fun to play a round of golf
with, better able to lift your spirits after a bad day, or able to give a more
inspiring pep talk. He was always on the phone catching up with friends and
made sure to speak to every person at every event, much to the chagrin of his
family, who were ready to go home. Brad's family will receive relatives and
friends from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Henry
Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The funeral
service will take place at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Grandview
Baptist Church, 250 Old Chicopee Drive, Kitchener, followed by interment at
Williamsburg Cemetery. Reception at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. As
expressions of sympathy, donations to Kidsport Kitchener/Waterloo or the Ray of
Hope would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
