Pre-Tryout Information
2026 Spring Prep Sessions | KITCHENER - Prep Sessions are now open for Registration. Sessions are offered for U8 to U18. Please register according to your player's age level for the 26-27 Season.
2026 Spring Goalie Clinics | KITCHENER - Goalie Clinic Registration is now open. Sessions are offered for U10 to U18. Please register according to your player's age level for the 26-27 Season.
Questions about Body Checking, U14 A and up: From the Alliance - all participants wishing to play in a League in their U14 season where Body Checking is permitted must participate in a Body Checking Clinic prior to their primary team’s first scheduled regular season or tournament game. This is a change from the previous policy, which made the Body Checking Clinic mandatory before Spring Evaluations.
Due to this change, KMHA will now provide Body Checking Clinics to teams prior to their first game. Participants are not required to complete a Body Checking Clinic prior to Spring Tryouts or Evaluations within the Alliance. Thank you.
Tryout/Evaluation Information
U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, and U18 JR Ranger tryouts at the AAA, AA, A, BB and MD levels happen this Spring.
Tryout Registration can open April 1st, as per OHF Policy.

Note about registering: For U8 & U9 : Your player will register for and attend one set of tryouts. For U10 and up: You should register your player for the package you want to start tryouts at. If your player is not offered a spot with that team, you may then register for the next package, if your player wants to continue trying out for the next team (for example, if you child wants to tryout for the U10 AAA team, register for this package. If they are not offered a spot on this team, you may then register for the U10 AA package. You can also start directly at the U10 AA, U10 A or the U10 BB tryouts.)

If you are a Lady Ranger and unable to register, please email [email protected], so we can share your OWHA profile with the Spordle Registration system.
Lady Rangers are welcome to attend KMHA co-ed Prep Sessions. Please be aware that Prep Sessions and Lady Ranger Tryouts/Evaluations may overlap, so review schedules carefully. The OWHA permits tryouts to start earlier than the Alliance/OHF. If you are a Lady Ranger and unable to register, please email [email protected], so we can share your OWHA profile with the Spordle Registration system : 2026 Spring Prep Sessions | KITCHENER. Please register according to your player's age level for the 2026-27 Season.
Tryout/Evaluation Information
Tryout Registration is Now Open: http://kitchenergha.rampregistrations.com/ for U11, U13, U15 and U18. Per OWHA policy, evaluations may start April 13th and tryouts may be run from April 14th to May 31st. Lady Ranger U8, Lady Ranger U9, U22 and any 4th Rep teams (if applicable) are held in the Fall. DS tryouts, an extension to the Local League program, happen in the Fall.

For KMHA-Registrants who are Lady Rangers currently, and are wishing to skate for another centre you will need to fill out a  Permission to Skate and email to Scott Snider.
For KMHA-Registrants who are Lady Rangers currently, and are requesting a release, you will need to fill out a Request for Release and email it to Pat Zister.
For NON-KMHA Registrants who are looking to tryout for a Lady Rangers Rep Team this Spring, you will need to fill out a Hockey History and email it to Pat Zister.
