KMHA is proud to offer our Summer Skills program with head On-Ice Instructors Dave Clipper and David Horne.

These daily skates, offered for a full week, will include:

Summer Skills Instructors

Dave Clipper is entering his 14th year with KMHA. He has coached Minor Midget AAA, Midget AAA and a Variety of other teams. Dave is currently coaching the Ayr Centennials Junior B Hockey Club. He has coached Junior B the last 10 years. Dave is Hockey Canada High Performance 1 (HP1) Certified and a HP1 Coach Mentor, HP1Coach Evaluator. Dave is HP2 certified and trained. He is the New Technical Director for KMHA and he has run numerous camps over the past 15 years.
Dave Horne is entering his fourth season as a Head Coach with Kitchener AAA. Trained as an HP1 level coach, Dave currently coaches the U15 (2010) Kitchener Jr Rangers AAA team. Prior to his experience with 2010 group, Dave and his staff helped guide the 2009 Kitchener Jr Rangers to a birth in the U13 Alliance Championship tournament during the 2021-2022 season.  Prior to his experience at the AAA level, Dave has worked as both an assistant and head coach with various age groups starting with the 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007 birth years. Horne has also worked as a camp coach with the U15 Program of Excellence Camp with the OHF in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
