2025/2026 Alliance Registration

Registration for our Alliance 2025/26 (Co-ed) Season is now OPEN: 2025-2026 Kitchener Minor Hockey Player and Goalie Registration | KITCHENER

Please register by August 15th to avoid late fees, which begin for some programs on August 16th.  Our registration page will indicate what programs have late fees for late registrations.  Thank you.

Where can I find more information about the season and season start-up?  Please see our Alliance House League Evaluation Page.

What is "Alliance Hockey"?  Formerly referred to as "Boys Hockey", Alliance Hockey is our co-ed program that runs under the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario and is governed by the Ontario Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada governing bodies. 

What is "Lady Rangers Hockey"?  KMHA runs a program under the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (Referred to as OWHA/Lady Rangers programming on our website). More information about the Lady Rangers program can be found here. 

Do you offer hockey for players with Special Needs?  Yes, KMHA runs a program called Ice Pirates.  More information about the Ice Pirates can be found here.

What is Spordle? Spordle is the name of the third party Hockey Canada system used for Registration.

My player was offered a spot on a U10 and up AAA, Seeded, or BB/B team for the 2025/26. 
Do I need to register my player again?  No, your player was already registered when they accepted a spot with their team.

My players wants to play Select Hockey.  When are tryouts?  How do I register?  Please register your player for the appropriate House League package.  Select Tryouts, a complement to the House League program, will happen in the Fall.

My player wants to tryout for a U8 or U9 MD Team.  When are tryouts?  How do I register?

What is the TCHL? Kitchener recreational teams will again be playing in the Tri Cities Hockey League (TCHL) for the 2025/26 Season, a league which sees all recreational hockey teams in Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo play in a loop together.  For more information read HERE

How long does the regular season run? Our season generally runs from September to March for most recreational programs.

When will schedules for teams be available?  Planning is underway for ice scheduling of all our programs.  More information will be available in the coming months for U10 to U18 programming as planning is completed.  

For U6 to U9, we can share the following information about regular season days and times:

U6 - Wednesday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday Mornings (8am-12pm).  Times are rotating amongst the teams.
U7 - Wednesday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday Mornings (8am-12pm).  Times are rotating amongst the teams.
U8 - Tuesday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday mornings (8am-12pm).  Time are rotating amongst the teams.
U9 - Thursday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday afternoons (2-4pm).  Times are rotating amongst the teams.  Please note that U9 will participate in the TCHL with Waterloo and Cambridge when they transition to full ice (mid-January).  Game times taking place in the other centers may vary.
