The OHF (Ontario Hockey Federation) now approves all volunteers' Vulnerable Sector Checks (VSCs). KMHA (and all Minor Hockey Associations) are not able to approve the checks themselves anymore.
Please read the following scenarios and follow the instructions that apply to your situation for the 2025/26 Season.
In all scenarios, you will need to know your Hockey Canada ID. Your Hockey Canada ID is found in Spordle. Those with our "Alliance" or co-ed leagues will use this system often. If you are with our OWHA or Lady Rangers leagues, or if you are having trouble locating your ID in Spordle, you can contact the office for your Hockey Canada ID. If you have never coached with any Hockey Canada member, you will need to create a Spordle/Hockey Canada account to obtain a Hockey Canada ID. Please email [email protected] if you need help.
Scenario One: I volunteered with KMHA last year and my VSC was approved by the OHF. I have a current VSC that I received in 2023 or later.
TODO in this case: Use this link to answer declaration questions. You must answer the declaration questions again for the 2025/26 season. You do not need to submit your VSC again. Just answer the declaration questions.
