Alliance House League Evaluations
Welcome to the 25/26 Alliance House League Evaluations Information Page.
You can register for our 25/26 Regular Season here, if you haven't already.
Evaluations for our U10 and up, Alliance Leagues,
are complete. Those on U10 to U16 teams should have been contacted by their coaches. Those in our U18 League will be contacted by the weekend (Sept 27th/28th) by their coaches, if they haven't heard already.
Evaluations for our Local League, Lady Rangers,
are complete, and you should have heard from your coach.
Evaluation sessions are used to get our kids back on the ice for skill sessions or inter-squad games. They are watched by our coaches, who will then draft teams based on the evaluations. They are
also watched by our Select Coaches, who will extend invitations for Select Team Tryouts. Once the House League teams are drafted, you will be contacted by your coach to welcome you to your team. Please note, the House League Draft will take up to 14 days to complete.
U6 - U9 House League Evaluations started September 20th. Please scroll below for more information about the U6 to U9 programs.
U9 Select Team Tryouts will start October 2nd. Our Select coaches will watch House League Evaluations and invite players to tryout for the Select Team.

Our U6 to U8 players should have received their evaluation groups via email.

Regular Season Length and Ice Times: The HL Season runs from the beginning of October to the end of March. This includes the Jason Cripps tournament that runs Dec 27-30 each season. The standard ice times (time ranges may vary depending on number of teams) for these groups are as follows.
U6 - Wednesday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday Mornings (8am-12pm). Times are rotating amongst the teams.
U7 - Wednesday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday Mornings (8am-12pm). Times are rotating amongst the teams.
U8 - Tuesday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday mornings (8am-12pm). Time are rotating amongst the teams.
U9 - Thursday evenings (5-8pm) and Saturday afternoons (2-4pm). Times are rotating amongst the teams. Please note that U9 will participate in the TCHL with Waterloo and Cambridge when they transition to full ice (mid-January). Game times taking place in the other centers may vary.

Is the Evaluation Team my child's team for the Season? NO! it is only their Evaluation Team. Their teams for the season will be determined within 14 days after Evaluations are complete.
Are House League Evaluations try-outs? NO! These sessions are used to draft fair and balanced teams. They are not tryouts - everyone will have a spot on a team.
Can I submit ride requests or friend requests? During house league evaluations, you may email or talk to the convenor to submit your request. However, please note, only sibling requests can be guaranteed. All other requests can not be guaranteed. Our convenors and coaches do their very best, but to ensure our teams are as fair as possible, other requests may not be able to be accommodated.
