Royals take top spot in Jason Cripps Memorial Tournament
The U10 AtoMc Royals had an unforgettable weekend, winning the Jason Cripps Memorial Tournament.
The team saved their most dramatic performance for the championship game, where they found themselves down 3 - 0 early. Instead of folding, the Royals showed incredible heart, storming back with 5 unanswered goals to claim the title in true storybook fashion.
Every player contributed to the victory, making it even more special. All five goals came from five different skaters, a testament to the team’s teamwork and determination. For a few players, it was their first-ever goal, moments that had the bench, the parents, and the coaches cheering with pride. From smart defensive plays to relentless forechecking to clutch saves, every Royal played a part in the win.
We couldn’t be prouder of this group. Their resilience, sportsmanship, and team-first attitude were on full display all tournament long. Congratulations to the Royals on an incredible tournament run and a championship they earned together. The future looks bright as they head into the London Bandits Tournament on Jan 9. Let’s go, Royals!
