U13 Select Tryouts
Congratulations to the players that have been invited to the U13 Select tryouts for this coming season. As mentioned in your invite letter, there will be 2 Intrasquad games taking place on September 13 and 14 this coming weekend. Teams will be divided into Blue and Red teams and will be assigned to you when you register at the table when you arrive with a unique tryout ID number.

Please do your best to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to ice times, with all equipment, and ensure players are ready at least 10 minutes prior to going onto ice. Since players will be divided up by Blue and Red teams ahead of time, each player is to use the respective dressing room based on assigned team colour. It's important that players use the assigned dressing rooms and jersey colour and number that has been assigned to them during each Intrasquad game. No swapping of jerseys please, note that jersey sizes are limited and some may fit a bit small.

For Sundays game, teams will be mixed up again and new jerseys and team colour may be assigned. The final team decision will be posted here Sunday evening using the players ID number you receive Saturday.

Again, let's continue to positively encourage our kids and most of all support them in having fun so they can put their best efforts forward. Best of luck to those trying out!

Sponsors
Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
Scotiabank
Scotiabank returns as a PLATINUM LEVEL SPONSOR for yet another season. They have five Kitchener branches to serve you. Last season, local Scotiabank managers were instrumental in arranging to feature our Peewee Bisons on Hockey Night in Canada! Thanks Scotiabank!
Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.

Our friends at Toyota continue to support Kitchener Minor Hockey by returning as a House League Gold Sponsor yet again for this season. Toyota also sponsors the Toyota Challenge featuring teams from the region in competition and the opportunity to travel to Japan. The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The team that wins the Toyota Hockey Challenge will travel to Hokkaido, Japan during March Break for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai Allstars, all expenses paid by TMMC. Thanks Toyota!
