First and foremost, we would like to acknowledge the hard efforts and skill sets of the players that participated in the U18 Select Red team tryouts this weekend. With making the player selection a difficult process, we have come to conclusion.

Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
