Busy Schedule Catches Rangers
Four games in four days took its toll on the Lady Rangers, as the speedy girls from the Royal City were consistantly let loose.

With that busy of a schedule it was bound to catch up to the speedy defensive minded Rangers. Combine that with a questionable ice surface, sticky pucks and slush, and you get very tired legs.

Although the Rangers squeaked out a 3 - 1 win in Guelph last night, it did not appear to be the same team that two days earlier held up Championship Shirts in Stratford. Minor line changes and some adjusting may have also have attributed to some confusion but the girls just looked plain tired. Time after time the Guelph Wingers held an empty spot behind the Kitchener Defense seemingly unnoticed, this led to no less then half a dozen lone breakaways for the Thunder.

As for the play up front the girls could not keep the crisp passing that had, as of late come to light, the Guelph Defense was terrific in poke checking just enough to keep the Girls in Blue off balance and prevent them from creating plays.

On a positive Eden was intramental in keeping the Rangers in the lead with a 12 save performance most of which was the tail end of quick breaks. Lane lead the way in scoring with two goals, Nicole worked hard down low to add in the other. Assists going to Hannah, Ashley, Issy and Ayrial.

With two practices standing between the Lady Rangers an extremely competetive team from Brantford Saturday, and in Stratford Sunday, keeping the girls movtivated and focused will be of the utmost importance.
