Heartbreaker at Sportsworld
Ask Bombers assistant coach Brian H about his team's offense and defense after two games, and he'll say "We keep pounding away at our opponents and keep ourselves in the game every night."  The Bombers stayed in the game until the very end.

The Jets came out of the first period with a one goal lead but that did not deter the gritty play of the Bombers.

In the second period the Bombers came out and tied the game.  It was back and forth action for 50 minutes with the Bombers tieing the game again in the third with less than 6 minutes to go.

The crowd was still juiced from the tieing goal, but the heartbreaker came with less than 28 seconds to go in the third when the Jets went ahead 4-3.

"It's very disappointing, that's for sure," said John H, one of the blueliners who stood tall for the Bombers. "We put together a great effort both offensively and defensively. We had a lot of chances, and they basically scored on the chances they had. That was the difference."

The Bombers take to the ice again this Saturday at Sportsworld to face the 2-0 Inferno.
