Minor Peewee, 2012-2013, Select (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

Congratulations Minor Peewee Select Jr. Rangers! Many battles were fought and won this weekend.  Parents battled some nasty weather on the drive to Barrie and, for the most part, everyone arrived safe and sound.  Many players battled illness and persevered.  The team showed grit and determination in battle with their opponents and proved, without any doubt, that they are Champions! Way to go Rangers, we are proud!

The Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Peewee Select team went undefeated to win the 2012 Dan Pulham Memorial Tournament in London.  Solid goaltending from Cole and Logan, goals aplenty from the players, tenacious forechecking, determined back-checking, and effort without the puck was just too much for our opposition to handle.  Well done Rangers, you have made us very proud!  

Just 3 more sleeps until the fun begins in London.  Please give yourself lots of time for the trip on Friday morning.  Players must be at the rink for the first game at 8:45.  A 6:45 departure from Kitchener should give you enough time to get there.  I have booked a Hospitality room for both Friday and Saturday nights.  Please remember to reply to Christine regarding the Swiss Chalet lunch order by Thursday. Good work at practice tonight Rangers, lets keep it up all weekend.

Well done today Jr. Rangers!  Your effort and enthusiasm went a long way to help others less fortunate to enjoy the game of hockey as much as we do.   

Minor Peewee Select Jr. Rangers will be participating in the Hyundai Hockey Helpers charity barbeque and car wash at Alpine Hyundai in Kitchener on Saturday October 27 from 1:30 - 4pm.  We hope to see you there to support this worthwhile program.
