Major Peewee, 2014-2015, Select (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

Ben Fanelli the former Captain of the Kitchener Rangers and founder of the Headstrong Foundation program was a guest speaker and special on-ice coach this week for the Peewee Select Team. Ben shared his OHL experience and the details of his head injury as well he discussed the long road to recovery process he endured to fulfill his dream to play hockey again. The Peewee Select team also fundraised over $300.00 for the Headstrong Foundation on behalf of Ben. Thanks again for sharing your dreams, hardships, and your vision in life with us.  

The Jr. Rangers lost in the finals of the CAL Kingston Select Tournament against the host team Kingston Panthers. The boys battled the Panthers to 2-0 loss after giving up the empty net goal trying to tie the game in the last minute of the game. Hard work and fun by all at the games and back at the hotel. Flip Cup,Important Game, Chase the Ace.

Welcome to the Peewee Select Website. The house league teams have been selected and now it's time to start the Peewee Select team evaluations(Invite Only) this weekend. For a large number of you it will be the beginning of a new experience wearing the Kitchener Ranger Jersey for the first time. The  coaching staff will use the two Intra-squad games to finalize the Select Team roster. We are looking for 17 hardworking, open minded, team first players as the learning curve will be steep with the limited ice time and the overall team lack of experience to begin the season.
