It took a shootout to decide the winner in the semi final game between Atomc Black and Sky this morning with Black coming out on top with a 2-1 final.
The 3 on 3 overtime was a hard fought battle and the Black goalie Aiden Radatus was tested numerous times before not surrendering a goal in the shoot out for the win.
Kodi Blackshaw and Braydon Houlihan scored for Black.
Black struck first with a goal from Brody Voll that was assisted by Tyler Oude-Voshaar, but the lead was short lived with Sky scoring shortly after.
It was back and forth thereafter with both teams trading scoring chances. It was a very unexpected low scoring game. Both Black and Sky were league leaders in goals scored this season.
The Black team would like to congratulate the Sky team for how they played and how great a season they had.
The final game will be played at 6PM between the rivals and undefeated teams Atomc Black and Atomc Blue.
