50 Shots a day Challenge!
Hello all,
We have
developed a challenge for our DS girls in assisting with their hockey
development. The first challenge will focus on Shooting, something that
pro hockey players work on every single day to improve on power, accuracy and
release. Amber will have the 50 Glove Save A Day Challenge.
We will take some video at Thursdays practice of every player shooting the puck and then for our practice on Feb 6th we will take some more video to compare. So here is the challenge: 50 Shots a Day starting January 21st and ending Monday February 6th (doesn’t have to end, please keep doing it J ) Shoot 50 pucks on a net, against a wall or garage (ask parents first) focusing on sweep shot and wrist shot proper technique. There is a video attached as a reminder of the proper technique to use for an effective hard shot. We will review again at practice next Thursday as well. Please use the attached chart and check off the days completed, there will be prizes for those that complete it but the biggest prize of all will be the sizzling wrister or sweep shot that has a jet stream behind it as it goes into the other team’s net.

If for any reason you do not want your daughter to participate or have video taken etc, please email me directly and let me know.
See you at the rink and Happy Shooting!!
Cheers, Brad
