The Lady Rangers traveled to the Sleeman
Center for a Saturday night game against the Guelph Gryphons.
The first meeting of the season had the Lady Rangers playing an “away” game against the Gryphons at the Sleeman Center. After a slow start on Thursday, the ladies came out driving the bus in the first with all three lines showing the hustle they are capable of. While out shooting and out chancing Guelph in the first two periods, several miscue’s had the game tied at two heading into the break. Starting the third as they did the first, the ladies continued playing hard, smart hockey to earn a well-deserved “W”.
The difference in games was noticeable. Your desire and want were what the coaching staff has “looked” for and “expects”. We were pleased that you answered the challenge of this “defining” game. We truly believe that when you play the way you are capable, you will compete with anyone. But you gotta come to play every game. Hope you enjoyed your "day of rest".
