On behalf of the Coaching staff we would like to communicate how hard the players worked throughout the tryout process. It made our roster selection all the more challenging.
We evaluated players in intersquad House league games, skills based stations, chats with players about team culture to get to know them, and then finally an intersquad game to compete against each other, while we also looked at team chemistry.
U14 and Kitchener hockey is strong, as we witnessed tonight there are two full teams of great hockey players at this level and many more in our house league system.
We had some tough decisions, and will also be reaching out to additional players in the coming days about AP opportunities to practice and play games with our 2023/2024 team.
