The coaching staffs would like to thank everyone for the interest in the U14 BB/B player evaluations beginning on Monday May 8th.
Player Evaluation/Tryout Information
Thank you for your interest in attending the BB/B player evaluations/tryouts. The coaching staffs for both the U14 BB/B Red and Blue teams are extremely excited to get started next Monday. The coaching staff would like to share some information regarding next week with those attending.
Registration is still open and ongoing, and based on attendee numbers we will be forming groups to make the player evaluation process run smoothly for everyone. We know everyone is as excited as we are in getting started this spring, and we appreciate your patience in waiting for the specific tryout details.
Specific player "group" details will be provided to all participants starting Saturday May 6th.
Please ensure you have all your equipment prepared including a jersey before arriving for the first ice time.
Please check in at the U14 BB/B table upon arriving at Activa Sportplex Tom Graham rink on Monday night prior to finding a dressing room. At this time participants will be issued a web ID number. This web ID will be used to follow the online tryout selection process for both the U14 BB/B Red and Blue teams. Players will also be issued a dressing room and on ice number at this time.
Players, please be ready to go at your ice start time. Listen to the Coaches and be focused in the drills. if you need help, please do not hesitate to ask. This means everyone needs to pay attention when a drill is explained by the coaches.
Monday May 8, Tuesday May 9 and Wednesday May10 will be shared ice times for both the Team Red and Team Blue Player Tryout/Player Evaluation Process.
The first selections will take place on line after the ice time on Wednesday May 10th. The web ID numbers listed on this U14BB/B Red Team page will be moving forward with the Red Team player evaluation process. Those Web ID's not listed here, please check on the Blue team home page for their player evaluation process.
The coaching staff would like to mention we are not just looking at talent during this player evaluation/tryouts. We are also looking for those players who are hard workers in practice, have great attitudes, give relentless effort, listen well and possess a never give up mind set. Also, we are looking for great team mates both on and off the ice, and players who are committed to team play and team accomplishment over individual rewards.
